Declaration of Resignation
The registry office in the area in which you live is responsible for accepting your declaration of withdrawal. If you want to leave a church or a religious community that is a corporation under public law, you must personally declare your withdrawal to the registry office of your place of residence. Please bring your valid identity card or passport with you to the personal appointment.
Danger : The registry office of the Konz Association of Municipalities does not offer an online service for leaving the church! Before using such an online service, be it for leaving the church or something else, it should always be checked whether this is officially recognized at all. And if you want to be on the safe side, simply choose the route to the relevant office directly.
