A few hundred meters further we come across the sculptures of the Italian artist Claudia Farina . "Impressioni distratte", which can best be translated as "scattered impressions" or "fleeting impressions", is the title of the two-part work, homage to the fishing boats that the artist sees from her room window on the beach. An equally familiar motif for the people on the river. The moisture after a rain gives the weather-beaten boat hulls a shiny shimmer in the sunlight, which contradicts the simplicity of the material in its precious effect. The gentle swaying of the boats and the glittering surface of the water have a poetry that we hardly notice given our everyday sensory overload. However, beyond this narrative side, the works have deeper levels of meaning and interpretation possibilities, such as the relationship between humans (boats) and nature (waves), which can be both opposite and symbiotic, or the thought of the boat of life, the symbol our human existence.

Nata a la Spezia, il 23/06/1965, 1983 Maturita' Liceo Artistico di Carrara, 1989 Diploma di Scultura Accademia di Belle Arti di Carrara, (prof. Bodini, prof. Balocchi), 1989 Borsa di studio della fondazione Reissmüller, da 1997 docente della scultura Campo d'Altissimo, Alta Versilia from 1998 Studio Artistico di Scultura Campislia.
