My steel work in Tawern is meant to seem like a natural phenomenon to approach, to feel, to be moved, perhaps excited - it exudes dignity and impresses with its power.
Leaving transparency in the landscape, interlocking sculpture and biosphere, subordinating oneself quietly, mysteriously in the landscape, perhaps understanding the sculpture itself as a place... these are concrete criteria according to which I design reality. My sculptures use a technical material that is usually used in industrial or craft contexts. Due to these specific properties, I place it in an artistic context. This turns the technical material into an aesthetic material and, of course, the result is not a functional object, but a work of art.
