The action group visited the House of the History of the Federal Republic in Bonn on January 17th, 2020. The Museum of German Contemporary History since 1945 shows German history from 1945 to the present in a very lively and varied form in its permanent exhibition and sets additional accents in numerous temporary and traveling exhibitions.
An approx. 1 ½ hour guided tour provided a first impression, after which there was an opportunity to devote attention to individually interesting topics of the exhibition, or to fortify yourself in the museum café. On the way back we visited Bad Münstereifel, surrounded by "unique nature and breathtakingly beautiful Landscape". The city has understood how to strengthen its economic power by setting up a number of outlets and, in addition to the Heino-Cafè, offered the best shopping opportunities.
