“Tranquilla Trampeltreu” - Interactive theater for families with children

The city of Konz presents as part of the series Kukis – Culture for Children an interactive play for the whole family: “Tranquilla Trampeltreu” – an unforgettable, hands-on experience that teaches the themes of courage, perseverance, and freedom in a playful way.

The performance of the Theaterraum Mainz will take place on Sunday, 30 March 2025 at 11 a.m. in the Konzer-Doktor-Bürgersaal (Wiltinger-Straße 10-12, Konz) and is aimed at families with children aged 4 to 10. The story is based on the popular book by Michael Ende and tells of a tortoise who, despite all adversities and the skepticism of others, does not give up and follows his own path.

When all the animals—big and small, old and young, wet and dry—are invited to the wedding of our Great Sultan Leo, the Twenty-Eighth, the fast and the slow are invited too. But the tortoise Tranquilla needs a lot of willpower to make it to the wedding on time. No one encourages Tranquilla. Everyone says: You'll never make it, you're too late, turn back! But Tranquilla doesn't give up. She keeps going, step by step... Where there's a will, there's a path!
