Konz-Filzen: Work on drinking water supply

From April 23, 2025 Work is beginning in Konz-Filzen to ensure a reliable long-term water supply for the district. In addition to water pipes, a pressure reduction shaft on Steinberger Straße is also being replaced.

The supply of drinking water will be guaranteed at all times thanks to carefully planned interim measures. However, during the construction work, it will be necessary to implement a full closure in the area of Steinberger Straße/Filzer Kupp farm road. This closure is expected to last until mid-June.

Therefore, through traffic from Konz-Berendsborn to the Konz-Filzen district via Filzer Kupp will not be possible during this period. However, residents of Filzer Kupp will still be able to reach their properties from the direction of Berendsborn. The parking lot located in the forest area will also remain fully accessible from the direction of Konz-Berendsborn.
