"Wuselkusen" visits the Konz town hall

Every two years, the Youth Center in Konz hosts the children's town "Wuselkusen" during the summer holidays. Mayor Joachim Weber symbolically presented the key to the opening. On Wednesday, the children's city council, newly elected in the play town, also visited the real town hall. The children spoke to the mayor about political work, among other things, they visited the mayor's office and enjoyed the view from the town hall balcony.

During the summer holiday event in Konz, 125 children between the ages of 7 and 13 spent a week experiencing how a city works. They took on roles, learned how to make decisions and resolve conflicts. A real little city with workshops, authorities, shops and studios was created at the youth centre.
