We are Mosel heroes

We are delighted to welcome two new Mosel heroes to the municipality and would like to offer our warmest congratulations:

The Vinothek Buch & Wein in Kanzem has been awarded this year by the regional initiative Faszination Mosel as #moselhelden 2024 on the topic of MoselWERTschätzen. With an online vote, the Obermoselperle in Temmels win the #moselhelden audience award.

The Vinothek " Book and Wine “ in Kanzem is a special meeting place that combines culture and enjoyment. Visitors can find regional wines as well as apple juice and honey from the surrounding area. An integrated library with around 1,000 books invites you to browse. The combination of village meeting place and cultural meeting place creates a space for intergenerational exchange in Kanzem. Buch & Wein is run by 22 committed volunteers.

With the project “ Obermoselperle “ of the culture and leisure association, the community of Temmels found a new meeting place after the closure of the last local pub. The beer and wine stand directly on the cycle and hiking path at the level of the sports field is a meeting place for young and old, where wine and beer brewers from the region offer weekly changing drinks. The Obermoselperle has developed into a popular place for locals and guests, which allows them to experience the diversity of the Moselle region.
