Rehabilitation of the B 419 between Temmels and Oberbillig
The LBM informs:
From Monday, November 18th, construction work will begin to renovate the federal highway 419 between Temmels and Oberbillig over a total length of approximately 3.5 km.
The construction project involves the renewal of the damaged asphalt surface layer. Due to the narrow road widths, the work can only be carried out under full road closure due to traffic and occupational health and safety concerns.
For the duration of the construction work, the diversion will take place from the B 51/B 419 roundabout via the Könen bypass, K 112 Tawern and L 136 to the Temmels roundabout, as well as in the opposite direction, and will be signposted on site.
The traffic volume on the B 419 in the relevant section is approximately 9,300 vehicles/24 hours, with 4% of the traffic being heavy goods vehicles.
The construction work is being carried out by Hermann Köppen Ing.-Bau GmbH & Co. KG from Bitburg. The total construction time is approximately 4 weeks.
The costs will be borne by the Federal Republic of Germany with an investment volume of approximately EUR 450,000.00.
For further information and details on the diversion route, please refer to the Mobility Atlas at verkehr.rlp.de (Activate the redirect route in the side menu under “Settings”).
The LBM Trier thanks the affected road users for their patience and understanding.
