Roscheider Hof is “Museum of the Month” in August 2024
The Roscheider Hof open-air museum in Konz has received the “Museum of the Month” award from the Ministry of Culture of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate. State Secretary for Culture Professor Dr. Jürgen Hardeck presented the award, worth 1,000 euros, to the managing director Dr. Ursula Ninfa on Monday.
"The Roscheider Hof open-air museum impresses with its detailed depiction of everyday life in the region in the last century. With its historic buildings, extensive exhibitions and innovative digital offerings, it allows visitors to take a unique journey through time. The variety of events - from historical reenactments to craft days and theater performances - impressively illustrates the cultural diversity and history of our region," emphasized Jürgen Hardeck.
Mayor Joachim Weber was one of those present at the award ceremony. "The association puts so much love and work into the exhibitions and events. It's good to know that this is appreciated not only by us as a company, but also by the state," he said happily. "This way, the Konz Open Air Museum may become even better known beyond the region's borders."
