“Rolling Advisory Committee” of the PfD Konz – register now!

The funding year 2024 is coming to an end and the current funding period 2020 – 2024 within the framework of the federal program “Live Democracy!” will end on 31.12.2024. At the end of the funding period, the last monitoring committee meeting of the year will take place on Wednesday, December 11th as "rolling advisory committee" for the "Golden Angel" Museum in Baumholder ( https://museum-goldener-engel.de/ ) instead of.

In the museum you can delve into the region's history, there is information about the origins of the military training area and about the effects of the coexistence of Germans and Americans over many decades, which also shaped coexistence in our region. The trip is rounded off by a supplementary supporting program and the opportunity to have dinner together in Baumholder.

The trip will also be used to look back at the expiring funding period, implemented projects and established structures together with BGA members, project sponsors and interested parties, and to look into the future to the funding period 2025 - 2032. Of course, the trip also offers sufficient time for exchange, initiating new collaborations and developing initial project ideas for the coming funding period.

The “rolling support committee” is planned as a joint bus tour. Departure is at around 2:30 p.m. at Konz train station (Güterstraße 1), planned return to Konz is at around 8:30 p.m. Registration for the trip is possible at https://varaus2021.de
