Children of the Bambini and Youth Fire Brigade are happy about gifts
Just in time for the start of the Konz community's volunteer fire brigade camp, Westenergie surprised the young firefighters with gifts. 130 children and young people from the surrounding fire stations took part in the camp and received a drinking bottle. The gifts were presented by the mayor of Konz community Joachim Weber, the first deputy Guido Wacht, the local mayor Dieter Klever and the Westenergie community manager Christian Nathem.
The practical drinking bottle with a capacity of 0.7 liters is ideal for school, sports and leisure. Two opposing handles ensure a secure hold - even for small hands.
Mayor Joachim Weber explained: "The new drinking bottles remind the children and young people to always drink enough. I wish everyone an exciting and enjoyable time at the camp!" First Deputy Mayor Guido Wacht added: "The drinking bottles are not only practical. Because everyone has the same bottle, it also shows that the group belongs together. It is wonderful to see how the Bambini group is starting the camp with new energy."
"It is a pleasure for us to support the youth camp of the volunteer fire brigades of the Konz municipality. The drinking bottles promote the well-being of the children and underline our commitment to sustainability," explained Westenergie municipal manager Christian Nathem.
