Tree felling near the railway tracks below the Berendsborn area
In order to continue to ensure the safety of trains, trees will have to be felled along the Saar railway line in the coming days. Below the Berendsborn area, drought damage was found on the trees, meaning that they could fall over on the slope and damage the high-voltage lines in the immediate vicinity of the tracks.
Some work will take place during the day. However, due to the proximity to the tracks, some of it will also have to be carried out at night when no trains are running and the tracks may be closed. This felling will take place on Monday, June 10, 2024, Sunday, June 16, 2024 and Monday, June 17, 2024 - each time between approximately 1:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m.
We apologize for any possible inconvenience caused by noise and light. The measure should be carried out as quickly and as little disruption as possible.
