Active for local democracy

The current funding period of the federal program "Living Democracy!" ends at the end of 2024. Since the program was launched in 2015, numerous projects have been implemented in the local communities and in the city of Konz with financial support from the Partnership for Democracy in the Konz collective municipality, and support has already been promised to nine projects this year.

As part of a Democracy Conference on Monday, 29 April, 6 - 8 p.m. in the Konzer-Doktor-Bürgersaal We would like to look back at the past years of the program and reflect on its development. We would then like to use the knowledge we have gained to look ahead to the coming years.

During the conference, we would like to consider together with interested citizens, with representatives of groups, sponsors and associations as well as from politics and administration and with participants of the projects funded so far, what challenges our society and our democracy will have to face in the future and what priorities and topics as well as project ideas can be derived from this.

Take the opportunity to inform yourself, to discuss with us and with each other and thus to remain or become an active part of the Partnership for Democracy.
