40th anniversary of office of the arbitrator for the Konz district
Hans-Walter Schmitt has been a referee for the city of Konz for four decades. The 86-year-old retired teacher, who comes from Karthaus, has conducted a total of 232 arbitration proceedings during his long tenure.
On behalf of the State Minister of Justice Herbert Mertin, the director of the Saarburg District Court presented the award in the presence of the mayor of the city of Konz and the representative of the Association of German Arbitrators and Arbitrators. V. sent a letter of thanks and expressed thanks and recognition to Mr. Schmitt for the services he has rendered to the general public.

In the many arbitration proceedings that Hans-Walter Schmidt carried out, the vast majority of disputes were resolved amicably and therefore out of court.
