Citizen from Oberbillig awarded the State Order of Merit
The State Order of Merit is awarded to individuals who have achieved exceptional and above-average achievements for Rhineland-Palatinate. This also includes Marion Palm-Stalp from Oberbillig. Prime Minister Malu Dreyer has now awarded her the country's Order of Merit for her efforts.

At the Pro Retina patient association, Marion Palm-Stalp is the head of the Trier regional group for people with visual impairments in order to make it easier for them to participate actively and independently in social life.
Local mayor Andreas Beiling and the deputy of VG Konz, Guido Wacht, also came to the award ceremony in the ballroom of the State Chancellery in Mainz. The two political representatives warmly congratulated Marion Palm-Stalp and emphasized that her commitment is an enrichment and a role model for our society.
