News from the Konz City Library - reading summer and events from September 2022

The Reading Summer of Rhineland-Palatinate is also a great success this year in the Konz City Library. - 15.8.2022 borrowed a total of 3064 books and people are still reading diligently.
All children who have read at least three books by September 11, 2022 will win a nice prize. However, the prerequisite is that the club card is handed in at the city library. The prizes can be picked up from September 27th at the city library.
The next events organized by the city library are also scheduled for September:
September 16, 2022: Crime reading with Karl-Georg Schroll (alias Emile Claassen/Jonathan Metzell) in the city library of Konz at 7:00 p.m. (tickets for €5 only in the city library)
09/26/2022: Intercultural weeks in Konz : Topic "Culture and Diversity", reading and creative activities for children from 5 - 9 years in the city library of Konz at 4:30 p.m. (registration free of charge in the city library of Konz, duration 1.5 hours, limited number of participants)
10/07/2022: Crime reading "Golden Gift" by and with Tom Hillenbrand in the ballroom of St. Bruno monastery at 7:30 p.m. (Regional ticket, €14)
10/10/2022: Children's Theater "The Little Witch" in the ballroom of St. Bruno monastery at 5 p.m. (Regional ticket, €7)
14.10. and 21.10.2022: short thrillers and whiskey tasting "Whisky und Mord" with Andreas Sittmann and Isabell Krohn in the city library of Konz at 7:30 p.m. (tickets only in the city library, €35/€10)
18.11.2022: Nationwide reading day with the annual motto "Unique together" , reading and creative activity for children aged 5 - 9 in the Konz City Library at 4 p.m. (registration free of charge in the Konz City Library, duration: 2 hours, limited number of participants)
