LBM: Construction work at Tawern will start in mid-August

The State Office for Mobility (LBM) Trier announces that construction work to convert the exit ramp at the B51/K112 junction near Tawern, as well as other smaller construction measures along the B51, will begin in mid-August.

The construction work at the junction involves extending the exit lane of the B51 into the K112 in the direction of Tawern.

In addition, various infiltration systems will be manufactured to ensure that the roadway is properly drained.

Other small construction measures are being carried out along the B51, but these will not have a major impact on traffic management.

The construction work will be carried out by Wacht from Konz and will be completed by the beginning of December, depending on the weather.

The construction work at the junction near Tawern is due to the complete renewal of the roadway, taking into account the necessary interests of road safety and occupational safety with full closure of road traffic.

Depending on the progress of construction, the full closure will probably be set up from mid-September. The diversion is signposted on site and takes place via the B51 and the L136.
