K 110 - Surface renewal between Onsdorf and Tawern under full closure - Construction work is expected to start on September 20, 2022
The LBM informs:
The construction work for the surface renewal between Onsdorf and Tawern as part of the district road K110 is expected to start on September 20, 2022.
Due to the insufficient width of the roadway in the existing building, the construction work had to be completed under full closure. However, this also means a reduction in the overall construction time and better quality conditions.
The diversion route runs from Onsdorf via the L 135 in the direction of Windhof, the B 419 in the direction of Wellen, Temmels and then the L 136 in the direction of Tawern and vice versa. For more information and details on the detour route, please see the Mobility Atlas RLP at verkehr.rlp.de
During the renovation work, the asphalt-bound road surface will be reinforced. Two layers of asphalt are rebuilt. The road thus increases in height by a few centimetres. In the course of the expansion, the drainage systems will also be renewed.
The complete closure for the roadway renovation will remain in place until the beginning of December 2022, weather permitting.
The expansion length is around 3.4 km in total.
The rehabilitation costs for the roadway amount to around EUR 0.907 million and are borne by the district of Trier - Saarburg. The district's share is 79% funded by the state of Rhineland-Palatinate.
LBM Trier already thanks the affected road users for their patience and understanding.
