B 419 - traffic restrictions due to half-way closure between Nittel and Rehlingen

The LBM informs:

From November 21, 2022 until probably December 30, 2022, the B 419 will be blocked on one side in the area of two retaining walls.

The two retaining walls from 1905 and 1937 are partially dismantled and replaced by a construction made of gabion baskets. In order to keep traffic restrictions as low as possible, the work will be carried out in two construction phases.

Traffic will be guided past the construction site by means of traffic lights; the permitted maximum speeds are reduced accordingly. You can find more information on this in the mobility atlas www.verkehr.rlp.de .

The construction costs amount to approx. 217,000 euros and are borne by the federal government.
