Fourth graders at the daycare center in Konz conjure up color on the junction box
Gray becomes colorful - under this motto, the fourth graders of the day care center in Konz beautified the power distribution box of the distribution network operator Westnetz "Im Weerberg 7a" with bright colors and a lot of creativity. Under the guidance of supervisor Alexander Junge, the children conjured up a bit of nature on the box - with lots of greenery, flowers and a butterfly. "The holiday adventure day was really a great change for the kids," says Junge. And the first full-time deputy of the municipality of Konz, Guido Wacht, who looked at the work, was delighted with the commitment and praised the fourth graders. "You can be really proud of this design."

Westenergie representatives also took the opportunity to see the colorful design for themselves. “Through the painting activity, the children can discover and further develop their artistic skills and creativity. That's why we were happy to support the campaign to beautify the electricity box," explained Christian Nathem, municipal manager at Westenergie.
Westenergie agreed immediately and allowed the children of the day care center to redesign the electricity boxes. In addition, Westenergie is supporting the campaign with a financial subsidy of more than 500 euros for paints. A person in charge of the distribution network operator Westnetz also instructed the children before working on the electrical systems.
