Around 450 children took part in the reading summer in the city library in Konz last year. More than 4,500 books were read during the campaign. It is therefore important to get fresh reading material for the participants this summer. The donations will be used to buy the new books.
The success of the campaign shows how enthusiastic young people are about reading. Anyone who registers in the city library will receive a summer reading club card and can borrow the new summer reading books free of charge and exclusively from the start of the campaign. The Reading Summer Rhineland-Palatinate will take place from July 11th to September 11th this year. Anyone who has read at least three books will receive a certificate and attractive prizes after the holidays.
