Two new residents who are very enthusiastic about reading have moved into the city library! SAMi – the reading bears look forward to reading great stories from numerous books to all kindergarten and preschool children. The compact reader in the shape of a polar bear uses a sensor to detect when your child turns the page of a compatible SAMi book.

With the help of SAMi, the reading bear, children can immerse themselves in the world of books and have twice the fun while learning to read and listening to stories. The innovative audio and book experience is very easy to use and no additional technology is required.

Of course, there are other listening experiences for children that can be borrowed from the city library. With the popular Toniboxes, for example, the little ones can experience a wide variety of adventures. The box itself is a square speaker. Figures are also available, so-called Tonies, which the children place on the box – and the radio play begins. There are now six Toniboxes and 200 Tonies in the Konz City Library.
