Volunteering 4.0 ideas competition – organizations, projects or initiatives can now apply
Prime Minister Malu Dreyer has announced the volunteering 4.0 ideas competition for the sixth time.
The aim of the award is to make organizations and innovative projects visible that set digital accents and try out creative approaches in various areas of voluntary commitment.
What ideas are in demand?
We are looking for organisations, projects or initiatives that are carried out on a voluntary basis and break new ground digitally or with digital support. Very different ideas and approaches can be the focus. This can be the use of digital tools for club administration and management, innovative digital solutions for public relations and recruiting young talent, digital training formats, a self-developed app or collaboration on an online encyclopedia.
All areas of honorary and voluntary commitment are addressed - from sport to culture, social affairs, nature, environmental and climate protection, tradition and home care, refugee aid or commitment in the pandemic. It doesn't matter whether a club, a foundation, an association, a small initiative or a project is behind the commitment. A total of ten projects will be awarded prize money of 1000 euros each. Organizations can apply with their projects or be proposed for the award. Applications and suggestions are to be submitted online via the state government’s volunteering portal – https://wir-tun-was.rlp.de/en/recognition/ideen-competition-ehrenamt-40/ – Applications and proposals can be submitted until September 5th.
