International Organ Concerts Konz 2021
Russian concert organist Ekatherina Melninkova makes a guest appearance in St. Nicholas
On Sunday, November 21 at 5 p.m., concert organist Ekatherina Melninkova from Moscow (Russia) will perform works by Johann Sebastian Bach, the French Romantic period, as well as her own compositions as part of the International Organ Concerts in Konz on the large St. Nicholas organ . Due to the Corona safety standards, the organ concerts planned for this year and the big anniversary concert "10 years of INTERNATIONAL ORGAN CONCERTS" could unfortunately not take place and are planned for the coming year.
We are all the more pleased that at least the final concert of this year's planned series can be performed. The internationally renowned concert organist, also no stranger to Konz, since she has already made a guest appearance at the mouth of the Saar-Moselle, will bring out the full range of sounds of our St. Nikolaus organ in her concert and, thanks to the close proximity to the audience, also a create a lasting experience. If the 3 G Corona standards are observed, a very warm invitation will be sent -
