Tawern - main community

The municipality of Tawern would like to deal intensively with the topic of village development, social interaction, structural design, internal development and many other topics over the next few years and develop new projects and measures here.

Tawern was recognized as a so-called priority municipality by the state of Rhineland-Palatinate in 2018 and thus receives preferential support in the creation of concepts, but also in implementation. A suitable planning office will be involved in this shortly. In addition, a working group / village development committee is to be set up.

Tawern's village development concept dates back to 1989, so updating it to reflect today's conditions is appropriate. This process is scheduled to start in 2019.

In 2016, the municipality already carried out a MODERATION and worked out important topics such as recreation, inner development, parking spaces, village squares, conversion of commercial areas, local supply and youth work. (Report attached).

In addition, the possibility is also created that private and public areas can also be planned in a BUILDING CONSULTATION.

At the same time, you can also receive private individual funding from village renewal (Trier-Saarburg district) in order to put buildings that characterize the townscape back into value. The planning services and first sketches are also eligible for funding for the owners, also via the building program of the Konz association of municipalities (set a link to typical regional building).
