Development plan "Berendsborn"

Public participation according to Section 3 Paragraph 2 BauGB

At the city council meeting on May 15, 2018, the city of Konz decided to draw up the “Berendsborn” development plan in accordance with Section 2 Paragraph 1 of the Building Code. The aim of the development plan is to redesign the existing “Berendsborn” area. To this end, a new development plan is to be drawn up that brings the interests of the previous planning into line with the actual existing conditions. The individual existing development plans will be combined in this process so that a uniform basis is available for assessing the interests and other possible measures in the area. The existing development plans will become ineffective when the new plan comes into force. The decision to draw up the development plan was announced in the usual way on May 26, 2018. The early participation of the public (Section 3 Para. 1 BauGB) as well as the authorities and other public interest groups (Section 4 Para. 1 BauGB) took place between March 14, 2022 and April 14, 2022. After preliminary discussions in the building committee of the city of Konz on March 12, 2024, the city council weighed up the suggestions received in the procedure according to Section 3 Para. 1 and 4 Para. 1 BauGB on March 26, 2024 and decided to make the documents available for public inspection in accordance with Section 3 Para. 2 and 4 Para. 2 BauGB.

The public interpretation according to § 3 para. 2 BauGB will take place from

 29.07.2024 to 30.08.2024

at the Konz municipal administration, administration building II. The following documents are available:

The documents are available for inspection at the VGV Konz in Room 62 during normal office hours. These are Monday to Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. You can also arrange appointments outside of these hours with Mr. Queins / Ms. Greene by calling +49 6501 83-181 / 188. Citizens have the opportunity to submit suggestions in writing or for the record.

According to Section 4a Paragraph 6 of the BauGB, it is pointed out that statements that are not submitted in a timely manner may not be taken into account when making a decision on the development plan.
