Public participation
Development plan of the city of Konz, sub-area “Camping area Konz” – public participation in accordance with Section 3 Paragraph 2 of the Building Code (BauGB)
At the city council meeting on December 12, 2023, the city of Konz decided to carry out the public display in accordance with Section 3 (2) of the BauGB and to involve public bodies in accordance with Section 4 (2).
There is no development plan for the campsite. This should now be set up to secure the existing uses in terms of planning law. It is solely a matter of safeguarding the current use. There are no plans to expand the campsite or build new buildings. The planning law is to be created by establishing a special area for recreation in accordance with Section 10 of the BauNVO with the purpose of “campsite area”. The existing buildings enjoy existing protection. Since the entire campsite is located in the legally defined flood zone of the Moselle, building boundaries for these existing buildings are not set in order not to cause a conflict with the provisions of Section 78 WHG. This is therefore an open space plan. The public display in accordance with Section 3 (2) of the BauGB takes place from
February 13, 2024 to March 13, 2024
in the form of a disbursement to the Konz municipality administration. The following documents are available:
