A private developer has approached the municipality with the desire to build residential buildings along the local thoroughfare east of Triererstrasse in the area between the town and the new development area “Südlich Lafeld”. The planning includes 5 residential buildings with around 45 residential units and a building for a health center. The project is intended to meet the high demand for rental and condominiums. The Pellingen local council approved the planning on January 11, 2024 and decided to initiate the procedure in accordance with Sections 3 (1) and 4 (1) of the BauGB. The affected area is not developed from the valid land use plan of VG Konz, so an update of the land use plan must be carried out in parallel. The installation takes place in the standard procedure. The exact demarcation can be seen from the attached plan and covers an area of approx. 7,800 square meters (corridor 20, parcels 4/3, 4/4, 18/8, 3/33 and 18/19 in part). On May 2nd, 2023, the local council asked the local council to carry out the parallel change procedure for the land use plan. The local council then approved the planning on January 31, 2024 and decided to initiate early participation in accordance with Sections 3 (1) and 4 (1) of the BauGB. from March 18 to April 18, 2024
in the form of a disbursement to the municipal administration. The interested public has the opportunity to comment on the proposed planning and make suggestions. At the same time, the authorities (public bodies) are involved in the procedure according to Section 4 (1) of the BauGB by the commissioned office. The draft of the project-related development plan, the text stipulations, the justification, the species protection assessment and the environmental report are available for everyone to view during general office hours in the building office of the Konz municipality administration, Am Markt 11, 54329 Konz, administration building II, room 76.
